Fausat recently went on a road-trip out of Lagos with a group of friends, to attend a social event in the East (details of that event to come in a video to follow this one). During the journey, one of the high points was the stopover at a market in Ondo State’s Ore, to buy and eat Boli – a popular Nigerian Street Food, made from plantains.
To make it entertaining, this video trailer features footage she recorded of herself and other members of the travel group, as they jokingly introduced themselves while enjoying their Boli.
In addition, she has added some educative content to it as well, by providing general information about Boli, how it is prepared, where it is commonly eaten, its nutritional content – AND a delicious modernized version of Boli called “Boli boat”!
There is also a short excerpt from a video interview found on Facebook, of a veteran “Boli”-preneur lady, who reveals some interesting details about how she’s done the business of selling Boli – profitably – for 2 decades!
